Archives of Photographic PLates for Astronomical USE

Solar photograpic plates of the Einsteinturm (applause_dr3s.solarplate)

The table has 3613 rows, 47 columns.

Description

The table contains data on photographic plates of the Einsteinturm as physical objects. For the release, we enhanced the table with observation data pertaining to the plate, since there is a 1:1 relation; one plate corresponds to an observation with a short exposure time. See also the scan table. Unique Identifier plate_id

Funding for APPLAUSE has been provided by DFG (German Research Foundation, Grant), Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP), Dr. Remeis Sternwarte Bamberg (University Nuernberg/Erlangen), the Hamburger Sternwarte (University of Hamburg) and Tartu Observatory. Plate material also has been made available from Thüringer Landessternwarte Tautenburg.

The solar plates from the Einsteinturm in Potsdam are a contribution of the AIP"s Solar Physics Section with support by the European Commission"s Horizon 2020 Program under grant agreements 824064 (ESCAPE – European Science Cluster of Astronomy & Particle physics ESFRI research infrastructures) and 824135 (SOLARNET – Integrating High Resolution Solar Physics)
