The table has 3613 rows, 28 columns.
Description
The scan table provides scans all information available of sanning process of the photographic plates, giving sizes, etc. A scan is a high-resolution image of a photographic plate or film. In the case of the Solar plates, we provide the already preprocessed images, details see level 1 description. Unique Identifier scan_id
.

Funding for APPLAUSE has been provided by DFG (German Research Foundation, Grant), Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP), Dr. Remeis Sternwarte Bamberg (University Nuernberg/Erlangen), the Hamburger Sternwarte (University of Hamburg) and Tartu Observatory. Plate material also has been made available from Thüringer Landessternwarte Tautenburg.
The solar plates from the Einsteinturm in Potsdam are a contribution of the AIP"s Solar Physics Section with support by the European Commission"s Horizon 2020 Program under grant agreements 824064 (ESCAPE – European Science Cluster of Astronomy & Particle physics ESFRI research infrastructures) and 824135 (SOLARNET – Integrating High Resolution Solar Physics)
